OFFICE OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR

  • Primarily responsible for the over-all direction, supervision and technical information within the area of jurisdiction along planning, reporting, data management, monitoring, evaluation in compliance to social welfare laws and standards;
  • Provides functional competencies in the management of work, people and resources;
  • Advocate plans, programs and services of the department to the general public, legislative branch, other government agencies, LGUs and NGOs;
  • Address social welfare and development policies, issues and concerns;
  • Promote services and facilities for eventual replication, localization or devolution

 

OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT REGIONAL DIRECTOR

  • The Office of the Assistant Regional Director, under delegated authority, directs, plans, coordinates and supervices the functions of the field office;
  • Assists the Regional Director in overall operation of the regional office along planning, data management, monitoring, reporting and evaluation in compliance to social welfare laws and standards;
  • Acts for and in the absence of the director;
  • Acts as the Regional Project Manager of KALAHI-CIDSS Project.

 

DIRECT SUPERVISION OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Management Audit Analyst:

  • It reviews and appraises the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operating controls and promoting effective control at reasonable cost;
  • It ascertains the extent to which agency assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses of all kinds;
  • Ensures the reliability of management data developed within the organization;
  • It appraises the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities;
  • Recommends operating improvements.

Regional Information Officer:

  • Implement the FOs advocacy plans and policies to promote social change;
  • Designs and implements a mechanism to enable the agency to effectively communicate its key messages to the public;
  • Conceptualizes, packages and produces IEC materials;
  • Promotes linkages with public information and organization and maintain effective public relations;
  • Provide technical assistance to units along advocacy, marketing and networking activities.
